After getting Steven Spielberg Presents Taken (2002) on DVDs from my library and loving it,can't believe it only lasted 1 season! Probably because it was shown on the horrible Sci-Fi channel[which is why I never saw it then]!
Anyway, I think a book series with a story like that would be incredible,so does anyone know of any?
I see Taken was novelized, but is not rated well,so something better please?
Has anyone read the (Lorien Legacies) by Pittacus Lore, I totally loved the movie 'I Am Number Four' ,and would you recommend the books?

Im about to read the 'World War' series by Harry Turtledove. It's suppose to be a good read and involves, an alien invasion during WWII. Its four books followed by the 'Colonization' series and, a final book to round it all off. I haven't started yet but, from how I judge it online etc it sounds to be an excellent series.
Another 'Aliens on Earth' Series I can think of is 'V' though, I am not sure if it has been novelised.

I love Kurt Vonnegut's Slaughterhouse V.
Arthur C. Clarke's sounds good though, I might give it a try.

If you want an interesting modern alien-on-earth romance story the. You should definitely check out Armentrout's Lux series. I'm not usually one for aliens but this one hooked my from the start.

I can't think of anything off the top of my head, but I'd just say that I found I am Number Four to be rather dull, particularly the characters.

I recently found a series about aliens coming down to Earth while humans were still walking around on all fours. The aliens gave us the necessary DNA jump to change our brain wiring and begin to modernize. They've been watching us ever since. At first, it doesn't seem like aliens have anything to do with it, but as the plot thickens the aliens become vital to everything going on.
The first book is called The Atlantis Gene by A.G. Riddle
