I think teenagers will love this story, judging from the names of the superheroines and the main character being a preteen. And I agree that the title and the book cover does make it seem like a poetry book. Thanks for the wonderful review!

Yeah, the story and the characters itself is interesting. However, the book title and cover is indeed misleading. Thank you for stopping by and your comment. I appreciate it a lot.๐Ÿฅฐ

I agree with your points about the book cover and the title. Judging from the title, I also assumed it was a poetry book. And a superhero book should have a more dynamic cover design to draw readers in. Yet, I'm curious to find out what Canadian words the author uses in the text.

Thank you for sharing your honest opinion.

I remember one Canadian word from the book, and it was "Tabernache". Though I don't know what it means, but I hope it helps.๐Ÿคญ

Well, from my experience in Montreal, Quebec, "tabernac" is a slang profanity. So, I'm assuming that "Tabernache" is an alternative spelling for the word.

Such a promising plot. An explanation of the abbreviated words would have made a big difference. Thanks for your review.

Aliens, superpowers, provocations, and kidnappings would be tough for any group of superheroes to tackle! Thank you for providing an in-depth analysis of this one.

Thanks for your honest review. Captain Fantastic and Gridiron Girl remind me of the magical girls in cartoons. However, it looks like the book has some shortcomings that make it unsafe for young kids.

It sounds like a great story, but too many errors would definitely put me off. Thanks for the informative review.
