First, I would like to say a sequel must be released as soon as possible because I really look forward to reading it. I must say the writer of the book, Tayma Tameem, really did great on this one. I would definitely love to read more of her books. The book, Valoria: Heirdom, I'm not sure whether it's a book set in the 19th century or in a later period.

It is a story that encompasses power, love, a lot of passion, and war in a completely new way. It's not just a random book where a proud Prince meets a proud Princess, and then, they just fall in love and everyone is happy. The story starts off by explaining the lifestyles of the royals in Intellectus and in Valoria, who will later have to come together to fight a common enemy. There are two people I consider the brightest spots in the story. The first is Queen Namja, and the second, Queen Zainah. These two women, despite having a lot of distrust for each other, worked together to bring their children together in matrimony, because of the pressing need to protect their territories. The royal children, too, were as strong as their parents and were ready to marry people they didn't know, for the sake of national peace. Princess Zeina and Prince Adam's love story was beautiful too, and not at all normal. Prince Adam and the princess are such strong characters. They make you not just want to love, but to love someone who isn't afraid of your strength and works to make themselves better for you. Tragedy struck several times in the story, but working together, the two royal families came out of them strongly.

What I loved the most and considered a positive aspect of the book was the strength of the female characters in the story. In this book, a couple of people find love in the midst of being busy royals who want the best for their home country. I loved seeing a book where people with a lot of power are still as humane as random people. Above that, the female characters were used as symbols of female power, and yet the writer, Tayma Tameem, I must say did a great job of not sidelining the male characters, as the male characters were still as strong and beautiful to imagine as the female characters.

There's absolutely nothing to dislike in the book. The editing was good, the style is regal and the plot is interesting.

I would recommend this book to anyone who loves mild romance novels. This book will be a perfect read for people that love mild mysteries too, and I think anyone that believes women can be good, strong leaders will love this book. Overall, if you want to read a story different from what you read all the time, I think this is a good one because I haven't seen anything similar to this, and I have been reading books for quite some time.

I would rate this book a 4 out of 4, because, as I said, there's absolutely nothing to hate about the book.
