Xana's social, academic, economic and political transformation for the better is imminent as strange and unpleasant occurrences ensure the realization of Agatha's childish ideals on which the entire kingdoms destiny is dependent. The Monarch forfeits destiny by no actions of her own, leaving the kingdom bewildered. Mysterious forces were already in motion, with Agatha and unknown personalities at the centre of their attention, there could be no better time for the restoration of hope, but with whom is the solution? How and when will peace be finally restored? Agatha blessed with unequal perception and humble aspirations, is currently filled with emotions and is then left with an array of challenges to which supernatural aid is offered, which would lead her to her destiny, her rule is to be like none other before her and even after her demise.

The Queen of Xana by Fred Pilcher is one of mystery, intimacy, greed, victory, confusion, humility, inclusiveness, power and balance. Characters such as Olaf, Magi, Agatha, Ivan, Hector, and Sylvia all depict individuals with respective ideals. The book did well to describe the initial socio-economic status of the subjects, the lack of several infrastructures, proceedings and mannerisms of the nobles , the non-aristocratic as in ancient times, the celebrations, the scenes of battle, and the drastic steps that were taken to achieve revolutionary development for the betterment of their lives. The book then shows an unending cycle that reoccurs every life time proving the temporal state of idealism. Agatha being who she is represents the totality of what mankind will refer to as quality leadership, as her closeness to the people is worthy of admiration.

The author's effort to create an adventurous, thrilling and suspense filled novel is highly appreciated as it's activities are worthy of movie production. I enjoyed the description of the lives of the common man, their challenges, their good and bad days as well as the way they were handled by the leader.

I found the excessive expression of intimacy a little uncomfortable, as well the idea of intimacy being the initial solution to kick start a chain of positive events, apart from that the book was on point, realistic and very satisfying.

I rate the book a 4 out of 4 as it was well edited, very captivating and thoroughly enjoyable, the challenges both supernatural and natural as well as their solutions were creative.

I recommend this book to mature readers, adventure seekers, and action lovers as the book highly meets these expectations, but readers with sensitivity to explicit intimacy may find this hard to read.
