This series is one of my favorites. It has 3 books in it. I typically like books with female main characters that are strong and independent. This has that. It is also full of so much creativity that my imagination goes wild. These books are filled with creatures that are described so well you can picture them, and understand their nature. There is also a love story that I enjoyed and rooted for throughout. I have read this series multiple times and I will read it again.

Does anyone find that when reading this series they can easily paint the scene in their mind?

I love this series as well. :) I enjoy books that possess strong women protagonists with tough character development and a warrior-like mentality. These books are also extremely provocative when it comes to emotion. The language used to portray the story and the world within it is great. I would definitely read this series again. :)
