Witchling by Yasmine Galenorn
Although I didn't see any jarring grammatical or spelling errors, the writing was a bit uneven and some of the dialogue made the characters sound juvenile.
That said,I really liked the story-line and really enjoyed the book. I found that some of the characters and scenes were pretty unique. I look forward to reading the next one in the series, Changeling
Note:I did start off reading the 3rd book in the series by accident , and was completely lost, so you do have to read them in order.

Smoky is an element unto himself!
I get the reason you said the characters seem juvenile, however I think they were supposed to.
The girls are barely adults according to this fey mythos.
I've read quite far in the series and they grow tremendously.
Circumstances are not kind to these girls.
I like that it switches between the sisters. I don't think I could name a favorite.
Their love interests are interesting.
I also love the diversity of folklore in this series.
I won't say that this is the best series ever but for an easy paranormal romance series this is a good one.
I've never found it to be too dark. The romance takes a backseat when it needs to.
There have been things I didn't like but that's pretty much true of any series.
I think alot of people could really get a kick out of this series.
And yes, in order really is the only way to go with this series, things just change too much from one book to the next to read out of order.
What is grief, if not love persevering?
Grief is just love with no place to go.

I think I Have a girl crush on Camille, she is so sassy and sexy and I love that the author (who is a BBW herself) made Camille to be a "normal" woman. Her quirks and flaws are just adorable to me and the way that she attracts misfits is very sweet.
