Witchling (Otherworld series, book one) by Yasmine Galenorn is a book the D'Artigo sisters, half-faerie and half-human, from the Otherworld who are secret operatives for the Otherworld Intelligence Agency, living Earthside. They find out about a demon, Shadow Wing, from the Subterranean Realms, who plans to take over both Earth and the Otherworld and find that it's up to them to thwart his plan.
Although I didn't see any jarring grammatical or spelling errors, the writing was a bit uneven and some of the dialogue made the characters sound juvenile.
That said,I really liked the story-line and really enjoyed the book. I found that some of the characters and scenes were pretty unique. I look forward to reading the next one in the series, Changeling
Note:I did start off reading the 3rd book in the series by accident , and was completely lost, so you do have to read them in order.
