Bloodshot by Cherie Priest

Post by ryoku »

Our main character Raylene is a thief; and a really good one at that. She ends up being hired by a fellow vampire to find some documents. It seems to be an easy case at first, but the more Raylene uncovers the more she realizes that her client's problems also affect her. So Raylene races around the country and picks up this guy named Adrian along the way, while dodging the Feds and other people trying to kill her. The action very fast pace and heart-pounding.
I really enjoyed this book. It is more of a dark action-packed urban fantasy. As I was reading it I kept thinking it was like a Vampire Mission: Impossible which is really cool. If you like reading about vampires you should give this book a try.
