kind of the author to include the helpers as part of the story; the narrative certainly has my interest. Great review and Congrats on making the book of the day.

It's interesting to learn about Hawaiian cosmology through a fantastical story even though I had never heard of it. This science fiction/fantasy book is well-written and moves quickly. The Hawaiian Cosmology's division of heaven/creation into various levels was appealing to me. The novel is very captivating and holds the reader's attention throughout. Finding a good book on the subject, much alone a fantastic one, is uncommon. Islander cultures and folklore have long piqued my curiosity; they haven't been heavily commercialized or mass-produced, keeping a wealth of spiritual practices, beliefs, and experiences hidden from the general public. Congrats on botd!

This book has an interesting title but the storyline is weird. I find the element of Hawaiian cosmology intriguing. Some people might find this book interesting, however, I will pass on this one. Nice one. Congratulations on being the book of the day! A straight to the point review, nice.

This is certainly a good book series to learn about the native Hawaiian culture and folklore. Even the review momentarily whisked me away to a faraway tropical paradise!

This sounds like a really interesting read. Can’t wait to dive into this sci-fi/fantasy world and follow the adventures of Boy and Sistah, sounds like a wild ride! Can’t wait to find out how they deal with being in a whole new place with these creatures they’ve never seen or heard of!

A unique and interesting storyline. As a huge fan of fantasy books, I couldn't help but get drawn to this book. Seeing as this is book 2, I found it very commendable that the author gave a summary of book 1. This is an interesting book.

I have read the reviews and 4 pages of the book and can tell that it is not something, that I would typically enjoy reading right now.

First off, looking at the cover of the book, I found it very colourful and unique. One thing I loved about this book is that I was able to learn about a new culture and their language. It was interesting to delve into their world filled with adventures.

This seems to be an interesting fantasy book. The task before Boy and Sistah is enormous. I hope they can successfully finish their adventure and accomplish their mission to unite their world. Thanks for the review.

The sci-fi book does sound very interesting and exciting. I haven't read any books with Hawaiian backgrounds before so it's gonna be a new experience for me to learn the specific words used. I'm grateful for the author for the glossary of Hawaiian words and the summary of the first book. Congrats on BOTD!!

The book is broken down into five sections that pertain to the different levels of heaven/creation in Hawaiian Cosmology. One of the many things I took away from this book was the importance of having a plan in place in case things do not go the way you plan. Congratulations on BOTD!

I think your rationale for the rating is valid: an author shouldn't be penalised as a result of a reader's preference if it does not have a bearing on some technical literary point. Also, it is helpful to know that there's a summary of the book preceding this one. That implies that a reader can enjoy this book without having read the other one.
