Wow it sounds like this book plays on the readers’ every emotion. A lot of tragic events seems to happen in this story and series but the review really interested me in giving the whole series a try. Thanks for your informative review!

This book seems to contain great examples of how society divides itself and each section becomes reliant on its members while also separating and clashing with other groups. Thank you for your review!

From a sampling, this seems like an interesting fantasy story about a young man who discovers that he has supernatural abilities and is hunted for it. These predators cause him to be thrown into prison where he eventually escapes. Will he finally find peace or will these beings keep hunting him? It might be worth a second look. Well done.

Even though I haven't read the book, I'm all for the clairvoyants. I don't exactly like books with stringent characters. I'm curious to know who the betrayer is though. Congratulations on BOTD.

The loyalty and togetherness amongst the clairvoyants is admirable. I don't expect that Rion would have a normal after such unusual discovery. I'm glad he found a group of people who are like him. A good read for lovers of fantasy and romance. Congratulations on BOTD.

Is this book two? I remember there's one titled Clairvoyant. It seems like a nice adventure and action-packed novel. While it's unfortunate that they were betrayed by one of their own, it's not surprising, as such things tend to happen. Nice work on your review!

This book seems to mix some aspects of fantasy with romance and superpowers at the same time. Rion seems to be a well developed character with mystical powers, who is a clairvoyant and kinetic too. Congrats on BOTD to the author! Thanks for the review!

"The Fifth Strain" is a story about Rion who was clairvoyant and kinetic and he had magical powers. Rion was part of a group of clairvoyants that possess mystical powers that they use to protect their members. Rion did not know he had mystical powers until after the predators came searching for him. His meeting with the predators led to a awful fight in the school, prison time and terrible memories. Rion escaped from prison and other clairvoyants catered to him in the safe house. Rion later learned that one of the clairvoyants was betraying the group. Who was the betrayer? Members need to read the book to find out. Good review.

It is the second book in a young adult science fiction and fantasy series. The story about superpowers weaves into themes of self-discovery, family ties, trust, and friendship. Congratulations on Book of the Day!

Superpower stories are great and all but mostly they are highly unlikely. Very few reveal what people would actually be like and instead, only show ideal scenarios.

Thank you for the great review. I'm not a great fan of sci-fi, but I could tell from the sample that it is well written. I'm sure that those that like fantasy books and young readers too, will enjoy this book. It's nice to see books about friendship, trust, and teams.

This is a very thrilling book. I like the lessons that were embedded the book like self development, team spirit and loyalty. I feel bad that there was a betrayer in their midst but it is always bound to happen. I look forward to reading this book.

I seem to like everything about this book. From the cover to the storyline and development of characters. The idea of the Clairvoyant and psyriin tussles sounds interesting to read to me. I wish to congratulate the author on being the #BOTD!
