The Devil Pulls the Strings is a supernatural fantasy book which is written by J.W. Zarek. This book is basically about magic and action. Boone Daniels and Sapphire are the protagonists of this book. Boone Daniels is quite different from a certain period of his childhood. Whenever significant moments happen in the future vision hits him. When he came to New York to attend a gig because of his injured friend then situations started to turn crazy. There he met Sapphire and incidentally got the responsibility for bringing three pieces of Paganani music. This music is a very rare piece which hasn't been heard in over 100 years. But the villains of this story don't want people to hear this music and want to bring doom in New York. Read this book if you want to know how Boone and Sapphire complete their tasks together through unknown dangers, solve mystery and save the New York City.

In this novel, I got a very strong, determined and courteous vibe from Boone Daniels. He has a good sense of humor. Besides, he faced so many troubles again and again but still didn't give up or fallen in disaster. He fought till the end until he finished his goal. On the contrary, Sapphire is very humble and a talented violinist. She's very passionate in her job. She can solve any troublesome situations calmly. I really enjoyed these aspects of this novel.

Sometimes, some of the representations of this novel had been difficult for me to understand. It would be nice to have a clear idea at the beginning of this book. But at first, I had a hard time understanding the concept of this novel. But it didn't create that much difficulty for me. Besides, it seems well edited to me.

This novel is also a mix of magic, time travel, action, adventure, suspense and many more. All of this genres emerged skillfully in this novel. That's why, I would love to give it 4 out of 4 stars for it's amazing storylines.

People who love to read romantic novels will probably be bored easily. Although Boone and Sapphire had feelings for each other. But the romanticism isn't that much visible here. Despite this fact, this book is specially recommended for fantasy and action lovers.
