Imagination of magic can captivate and corrupt minds, definitely not my read.

Delvin, captivated by magic, learns from Magician Borlock. One fateful night, he discovers Borlock's unconscious body and is left to wonder if he killed him or was framed. Delvin embarks on a journey with Princess Jarla and Fionella to save Hengel from war. The Magician's Secret by Charles Townsend is a thrilling story with a rapid pace that leaves readers questioning its outcome.

The storyline is already exciting and intriguing to read. As much as I want to think that Devlin was not involved in Borlock's death, what if he was the one? I would like to know why he did it

"After reading this review, 'The Magician's Secret' by Charles Townsend has skyrocketed to the top of my reading list. Delvin's mysterious journey, the rapid pace of the first chapter, and the intriguing question of whether he's a murderer or framed have me hooked. I appreciate the detailed descriptions of various places and the strong character development, especially the empowering Princess Jarla. The only wish I had was for more physical descriptions of the characters. Nevertheless, with a solid 4 out of 4 stars and exceptional editing, this promises to be an enjoyable adventure. Can't wait to dive into this magical world! 🌟📚

This book was really enjoyable to me. The action begins on the first page of the plot, which moves forward at a good clip. You get the necessary breaks in activity during the slower sections. I appreciate that the princess in this tale is attempting to save the day. The Kindle edition contains a few typos and strange quote mark behavior, but these don't take away from the narrative. Congrats on BOTD

The review gave many good clues despite not telling so much: a teacher and a student of magic, a murder, a frame-up, a magical journey and adventure, violence, and a mission to save perhaps a certain group of people or a place from war. Nice! It is fast paced and perhaps really invites the reader to imagine everything. The review points out that places were wonderfully described but the reader-reviewer got to the situation wherein a want to see the picture of the protagonist crept in. Really nice! It has also a silent message against discrimination on women's social status.

I would also love Princess Jarla. The mystery of Borlock's death, saving Hengel from war, and the (magician's) secret from the title sound interesting. Thanks for the review!
