This well-written fantasy novel sounds like a captivating adventure with a mystery to solve. I like that places are descriptive for the reader to imagine. Great review!

What a great review!!
By reading the review, I could figure out that Delvin is not involved in the murder and he is being framed. The storyline seems intriguing and Jarla’s character is a plus in the story for the readers.
Congratulations on the BOTD!!

Great review, I love fantasy novels and I think it would be beneficial if authors would briefly describe the physical attributes of the characters and the world they are in so that readers will have a more unforgettable reading experience. Thank you.

The Magician's Secret by Charles Townsend is a riveting fantasy, marked by a compelling start that propels readers into an intriguing tale of magic, mystery, and adventure. Townsend's vivid descriptions and strong character portrayal, notably Princess Jarla's defiance of norms, enhance the immersive storytelling.

Seems like quite an interesting plot! I'm sure the readers would pick up the remaining books in the series with no hesitation! Just wish it didn't have violence so my young son could pick it as he's captivated by magicians and the things they do right now. I'll surely bookmark this for later. Thanks for the review!

Even after reading this little synopsis, I'm pretty sure Delvin had nothing to do with Borlock's demise. I really enjoy reading about powerful female characters, and Princess Jarla seems to be one of those kinds of characters.

Fairy tales do not tell children the dragons exist. Children already know that dragons exist. Fairy tales tell children the dragons can be killed.

G.K. Chesterton

No doubt character visualization is a good thing and many new authors forget to describe the character's physical details. And because of the same, facial expressions and body language depiction become hard to follow. But the rest of the sample was fun to read. Thank you for the free copy and congratulations on the BOTD.

Quite adventurous fantasy story book "The Magician's Secret" by Charles Townsend, which follows Magician Borlock and his student Delvin. This story appears engaging to me.

I found this book to be quite captivating and fast-paced, and I agree with the maps and vivid descriptions of the places that make it easier for one's mind to transport into a different world.

Magicians Secret

Delvin has always loved magic for as long he could remember and he was going to fulfill his dream. Interesting enough his teacher taught him how and then it may have backfired on him. The very person who taught him magic was now dead and Delvin couldn’t remember what happened besides that he was standing there after it happened. Magic can be a tricky thing only because one mistake could cause problems.

Delvin wanted to learn magic. Borlock, a magician was his teacher. Everything was going amazing, until one night. Everything Delvin knew is that Borlock was dead, and he had a leg chair in his hand, apparently, he was responsible.

I like books that are able to pique my curiosity right from the first page. The book sounds really fascinating, and I look forward to reading it. The good thing is that one can download a free copy on Amazon. Many thanks for the fascinating review.

I thought this review was fantastic; the author covered all the important topics and it was really nicely written. I was motivated to add this book to my list of books to read by the synopsis.
The synopsis is incredibly enticing and welcoming. I'd be interested in learning more about the characters' experiences. I appreciate your frank assessment.

An amazing and captivating read that starts with a cliff hanger. I'd have to finish the book to find out what really happened to magician Borlock. Great read. Congrats on #BOTD
