We Are Voulhire: A New Arrival Under Great Skies is a novel about desperation. Galen Bray was desperate, and he ran away from his home. Voulhire seemed like the best place to start afresh. He planned on being a blacksmith and earning his wages. However, with Rowan in his life, that seemed unlikely. Adventure awaited these two. Rowan made sure they answered its calls. How far will they be willing to go before they call it quits? How will they deal with the information that war may be coming to Voulhire soon?

Matthew Tysz is the author of this book. He has written several novels that were best-sellers. This novel, titled We Are Voulhire: A New Arrival Under Great Skies, showed some things that happen in our world. For example, it showed what war is like and the evil its spearheaders perpetrate. It showed the pain that thousands of people go through and how they die in those trying times. However, it is not all terrible. There are some fun parts to it.

Another thing that I liked about the book was the mystery the author shrouded some of its characters in. It was interesting to see that none of the characters could be figured out from the first act that the author showed us. There was always more to these characters and their actions. A good example was Lord Meldorath. I first saw him as a righteous man. He was presented as a man who stood against evil and would kill anyone who tormented his people. As the story progressed, I saw specks of darkness around him. I never truly understood everything about him. The story showed more of who he was as I read further. This mystery was not limited to Meldorath. Almost all the characters in the story were camouflaged in the beginning. This mystery and the camouflage were definitely what I liked the most in the story.

It would be false if I claimed that I disliked anything in We Are Voulhire: A New Arrival Under Great Skies. I loved everything in this story. I made that known above. I want everyone to understand that I enjoyed reading this book. I cannot say otherwise. I do not know if I will feel the same way when I read its sequels. I only hope that they give me more satisfaction.

four out of four stars is the rating that I am bent on giving this book. It gave me adventure and fun. It made me think about the ills I have turned a blind eye to. It gave me things that I never knew I needed. Plus, it was interesting and exceptionally well-edited.

Finally, if you want a book that will do for you what it did for me, you should read this book. There are a lot of things that will interest you. There's magic and battles in it. There is also comedy, so I think you will get a hearty laugh from this.
