Two close friends who view each other as brothers, gets into an unintended accident. One of them repays the other by doing him a favour(to play in his band-The Village Idiots-since he is injured). Along his journey to repay his friend, he runs into a series of confusing obstacles created in an evil manner. He journeys on his confusing quest that not only allows him to keep his promise to fullfill his friends favour, but it also allows him to find the answers to questions he has been dying to have answered. He meets a variety of good and bad people along his journey and makes friends that help him complete his quests. Although he encountered many questioning things and was faced with evil, the ending of the book is happy, in a way questionable because it leaves you with an 'i wonder what happened after this' question, but it ends in peace.

The book has a great storyline. It is very discriptive which allowed me to create my own image of every scene in the book. Even though the book is fictional, J.W Zarek(the author) incorporates the characters facing real life problems that people can relate to. For younger readers who will potentially read The Devil Pulls the Strings will learn alot of new words and phrases which makes the book educational. The book is full of emotion that might even make you tear up. It has an incorperation of non-fictional history related to a well known violen player from back in the day.

I have nothing negative to say about The Devil Pulls the Strings. It is one of the best books I've ever read. AMAZING!

I rate this book four out of four stars. The book has a great storyline. Whenever I finished a chapter it left me wondering about what is going to happen next, which ultimately kept me interested in reading the book until the end. It was also very well edited. The Devil Pulls the Strings is full of great factors that makes reading fun, like suspense, mystery and many plot twists. There is also a satisfactory ending that won't leave you in dissapointment.

I would recommend this book to anyone who likes reading content of a dark nature and content associated with music. Anyone who enjoys suspense, mystery and plot twists will definitely enjoy this book because it is filled with those factors. It will have you staying up reading until you battle to keep your eyes open, and the little sleep you'll get will be so worth it.
