My favourite zombie series is definitely Slow Burn by Bobby Adair. The fifth one had recently been released and all of them are available on kindle, most of which are free. I'd definitely recommend them.
Also check out the Feed series by Mira Grant and Ashes by Ilsa J. Black. And obviously The Walking Dead comics are eternally amazing if you enjoy things similar to that. :)

The Newsflesh series by Mira Grant is really good.
Her characters are amazing and the storyline is original.
Also she writes the parasitology series which is "zombiesque" or at least feels that way.
Definitely the Newsflesh series though.

I'm a big fan of zombie books.
I
The best in my opinion is return man by V.M. Zito is superb. The plot follows the lead character hunting for survivors loved ones the have reanimated and putting them to rest.
J L Bournes day by day armageddon series. a very dark thriling series.
I live in the UK and enjoy books based there Wayne Simmons Flu and the sequel fever are both very good.
Also Mark Tuffo is enjoyable.
Night of the Living Trekkies by Kevin David Anderson and Sam Stall is a lighter take on the genre.

I wasn't even aware that there was such a thing as zombie literature, although now I do have a vague memory of seeing Pride and Prejudice and Zombies in a book store a long time ago. My friend would love this thread though. She loves zombies in all forms.

I usually don't read zombie books, just because I never seem to stumble across any and I'm not particularly interested in them so I don't go searching for them. However, I read The Forest of Hands and Teeth awhile ago and I really enjoyed that.

None I think. I'm not a fan of that genre, but then I suppose I shouldn't have a say in this topic.

I'm not a big zombie person myself and I never really got into the zombie craze that seemed to affect everyone but me. However, I did read "World War Z" by Max Brooks quite a while ago and I unexpectedly enjoyed it. I thought I was well written and descriptive and incredibly intriguing and original. I highly recommend it!
