Less than one hundred pages in Terms of Service. by Craig W. Stanfill, the general Sci-fi/fantasy theme was immersive. My perspective of Sci-fi and fantasy was implemented and conveyed to what seems like a different dimension. This is what convinced me to give it 4 out of 4 stars. Terms of Service. has so many surreal settings it's unreal. We're accompanied by Kim, who works for the AIs and portrays the world in which she lives. I was fascinated by using VR technology as a primitive source. It made me wonder if our technology would get advanced to the point we can use a VR headset to buy groceries later on in the years!

First, the society displayed in the book shares the same similarities as ours. Even in a "perfect" world, there are still many flaws. Reading this book made me realize how we've all developed by our society. Kim's and our community are very different in viewing morals and the law. For example, guns may not be considered morally "right" in our community. However, in Kim's society, it's not accepted at all. It was breathtaking to learn how different we view a subject.

Next, the number of words I had to define to understand the text was enlightening. Terms such as interloper, disgorged, and schadenfreude applauds the author's vast terminology. Sometimes I was even confused about the definitions, but reading this book made me use a dictionary to understand half of it. Also, the description of each individual sentence made me visualize the book and what Kim experiences. I highly recommend this book to improve your vocabulary in a week!

Finally, there were no negative aspects in my eyes. As I've stated before, Terms of Service. is one of the few Sci-fi books I've ever read. Because of this, my expectations were exceptionally reached. I fell in love with this book early on because of Kim's character. They were taught to respect the AIs and avoid doing unlawful acts to get penalty points from birth. However, seeing Kim convey her feelings towards the AIs because of the adventure she went one was truly exciting to read.

Terms of Service is a must to read. In my opinion, teens and up should read this book. There is slight profanity and romance scenes but not a lot. Having an AI control what you eat, date, and even wear can be infuriating. Seeing Kim argue with a refrigerator is not an an-everything thing you read. In conclusion, I expect more eye-opening books from Craig W. Stanfill.
