We Are Voulhire: A New Arrival under Great Skies by Matthew Tysz is a fiction story of magic, adventures, religion, and politics. Galen Bray was a young and vibrant man in his youth who lived in the Land of the Princes. On a fateful afternoon, Galen received news about his inheritance from his deceased uncle, who lived in Voulhire during his lifetime. Determined to flee his homeland for a better life in Voulhire, Gray undertook all he could to escape the harsh life of wars and famine that had been ongoing in the Land of the Princes for several years. Arriving in Voulhire, Gray soon discovered the riches and assets his deceased uncle left for him and was determined to make the best use of the opportunity given to him by his uncle. Voulhire, on the other hand, is a prosperous nation with infinite opportunity for whoever is ready to make the most use of it. As a flourishing and economically powerful nation, Voulhire had many enemies and power-hungry leaders rising all over the land and her borders. This influence repeatedly threatened the peace and prosperity of Voulhire, and the King was continually disturbed. Threatened by a looming war, the nation's peace and economic stability hangs on the choices made by the King in choosing his executives at such a crucial time. Will the King make the right choices? Find out from this book.

We Are Voulhire is a lovely book with several twists and turns that keeps readers engaged from the beginning till the end. This book was interesting to read with several themes of mystery, magic, politics, religion, love, betrayal, corruption, and philosophy. What interested me most was the extensive cast of characters and the artful way the author carried every one of the characters along throughout the book. I equally appreciated how the author organized the plot and the magnificent way that he described the land of Voulhire and its citizens. The author equally performed an excellent job of concisely narrating every happening in the book till you feel you are a part of the story. There was no dull moment for me while reading this book, and my favorite character was King Wilhelm, the ruler of the Voulhire kingdom. I particularly loved his ruling style and benevolent character. I equally admired how the kingdom's prosperity was at the forefront of the King's heart and how he maintained the interest of his people at heart. King Wilhelm is a typical example of the type of leader we need in our society today.

Honestly, there was nothing to dislike about this book. It is a well-written book that captivates a reader right from the beginning. In addition, the literary context was excellent, and there were no overly erotic explicit scenes that could repel sensitive readers. The book was also exceptionally well-edited, and the story had many exhilarating moments that kept readers thoroughly engaged.

Overall, I rate this book 4 out of 4 stars, as I see no reason why I should deduct a star. The book was exceptionally well-edited, gripping, captivating, and suspenseful. It teaches us never to misuse power, as it corrupts when mismanaged.

I would recommend this book to lovers of fiction and fantasy stories. The story motivates and inspires us to do the right thing at all times, even in the face of challenges and temptations.
