Terms of Service by Craig W. Stanfill tells a tale about Kim, a young lad living in a world filled with AI and struggling to comply with the terms of service given to her and all of humanity. But things take a toll when Kim finds out it was all an illusion and something even worse waiting to take control of her. Through the ups and downs in this journey, Kim slowly discovers her true self. Having to choose between a pale but comfortable life and a happy but misfortunate one, Kim struggles to win back control over her life and freedom.

Craig W. Stanfill's knowledge and experience in the field of AI has made me fall in love with the book even more. The world Craig has built through his words left me amused and intimidated in ways I couldn't describe. The development of Kim's character to discover her true self throughout the book was astonishing. The best part was the process of her accepting herself after finding out truths that were kept hidden. I felt the first part of the book was a bit boring. But at the same time, I realized it was necessary content in the book to show Kim's growth. The later part of the book kept me flipping to the end as Kim's destiny was getting unravelled.

Although the content was great, there were instances where it took some time for me to understand a few terms in the book. I also felt the use of drugs by the characters in the book was encouraged by the AI several times. Other than that, I don't think there were any negative aspects in the book for me.

I rate this book 4 out of 4 stars. I think this book deserves a perfect rating for the content it promised. Moreover, Craig has shown me a world I've never imagined. Looking at that new world and the emotions it brought, I firmly believe this book would be on the list of my all-time favourites.

On top of that, the book was exceptionally well-edited. I would recommend this to a mature audience who's AI enthusiastic. Not only that, readers who are obsessed with technology or sci-fi would love this book too. I feel people who have to be or had been obedient teenagers but with rebellious hearts would relate to Kim a lot. Therefore, this would be a perfect book for anyone going through the journey of finding and accepting their true selves.
