The tale seems interesting based on your review. With it being a sci-fi that relates to our modern world I believe it would be a good read.

I'm curious to see how the Earth could come to its end in a few centuries, though I suspect that it's a device used to tell about its consequences, concerning advancements in science and technology and also some social ramifications with some people corrupted by the power they acquire. Thank you for your great review!
