This book seems to be bulky and an interesting one. I would love to learn about Jessica and the mystery in this story. For me to understand this book, I would have to read the first part. As you say this book is the second in the trilogy, I wonder without reading the first book I will have a hard time perceiving the events here? I would love to read it. Thanks for your detailed and honest review.

I highly recommend you read the first one titled "Dream," as it is well written and has the same intriguing aspects as this one. Now, for understanding this one, one does not need to read the first, but events will not be as impactful, because old characters from the first pop up. In the end, it is your choice, but I do recommend you check out my review regarding the first and see if you will enjoy what it has to offer.
