Review of The Elfkin Journals, Blending of the Races.
[The following is an OnlineBookClub.org review of " The Elfkin Journals, Blending of the Races by JDeVeres".]
In the Elfkin Journals, Blending of the Races, JDeVeres wrote a masterpiece that embodied a series of writings that made up a journal which was written by Garith de`Graion, the ward master of one of the wards in the Elven Clan. Garith wrote the journal for the sake of the future generation of the Elfkin race so that their heritage and legacy will not be lost to them and they would know their history and what made them unique and perculiar as the Elfkin race. Being a pure blood Elf, Garith grew as any other would and went through all the trainings that every Elf did and worked his way up the ranks with the help of his master, Ramas and he later on met Lannie( short for Lan) on one of the assignment he was given to give young Elven warriors training on what it was like to be on the field. Lan later on joined his team when she graduated and eventually became his wife. Garith's team was the best in field missions and as such he was usually given the best to be part of his team or new recruits as they were usually assigned top, confidential and life threatening missions to guard the planets, gather information from other galaxies, planets and lightways and to relay this information they get to the council of Elven leaders and other team leaders in order to protect the entire Elven Federation. Garith wrote about the experiences of each team member in his ward on the field and how they evolved with time, the decisions they made that affected both them and the team, how they were able to hone each of their gifts and abilities to fight in the field and gather information and how they were able to bond perfectly with their mind stone as each Elf had one unique to them. He wrote about the relationship of each team member with their bonded partner (wife or husband) and how they were able to create another life (a child) by completely linking together with their partners mind stone during intercourse. He stated that it was the complete link of each partners mind stone that created so much energy to bring about another life and not just the sex. He also wrote about how he trained the new recruits in the team on how to control and master their gifts and abilities and how to use their mind stone to read the thoughts of other team members by linking temporarily with the other person's mind stone and this was how they passed information between themselves during field missions without having to speak verbally. All these and more he wrote down in his journal for the future generation of the Elven people so they do not get lost as the world kept evolving and therefore forget what truly made them as Elf unique, both the science and the mystery of it. And truly there was a generation of Elf that forgot who they were and believed only what modern science told them. But they had a leader, Eirin who was desperate to reunite his people with their lost heritage and legacy so he began reading about the history of his ancestors and stumbled on the the journal written by Garith and a whole different world opened up to him. He had hope again for his people because Garith's journal was an adventure intended to describe actual events from ten thousands of years ago and not just the normal traditional scientific and military journal he was accustomed to reading.
This book was very intriguing and educational. Educational in terms of the science of the things written about in the book. Since this is a science-fiction book, I must say the science and the fiction were very intertwined that it is almost impossible to tell one from another which is a very good quality to look out for in a sci-fi book. I love the story line of the book and how it was arranged, it definitely kept me guessing what will happen next but never gave me a clue. It kept me at the edge of my seat, very suspenseful. It is a book that will keep it's reader glued to every page until the end because the fiction in the book almost seems real which is a plus for JDeVeres. The diction of the book is another commendable point. An average reader will have an easy time reading through the pages of this book.
This book doesn't have a lot negatives to it. The language of the book is exceptional and the English language suits with the current times. There were no spelling or grammatical errors.
I didn't find errors in The Elfkin Journals, Blending of the Races of JDeVeres. The book was professionally edited. I give it a rating of 4 out of 4 stars. From a general point of view, I found this book very thrilling and intriguing as it gave a very clear and real mental picture about the Elven race and the science behind their existence.
I will recommend The Elfkin Journals, Blending of the Races of JDeVeres to readers interested in science-fiction books and also highly recommended to scientific researchers as they will have a fun time reading the book while also picking out some possible scientific hypothesis from it.
