Amanda is a high school graduate who is yet to figure out what she wants in life. Due to pressures from her parents to choose a college in their area, Amanda aspires to pursue a career in karate, while still trying to understand her weird, smart six-year-old sister, Saira. However, things didn't go as planned. She is plunged into the world of deities, acolytes, and kundalini after surviving a car accident.

Amanda awakens the ability to summon guns from thin air and know instantly when someone is lying to her. With her powers, she is expected to save the world from future destruction and defeat Jamie, the acolyte of death, who kidnaps and kills children for his greed, by her Deity. This was never on her agenda. However, to protect her friends, sister, and the people, will Amanda confront her fears and walk the path of her destiny? Read this exciting book to find out more.

Rise of the Savior by Antoine Bonner is an exciting piece, with an amazing storyline that keeps a reader glued to his screen. There are lots of things I liked about this book, which are worth mentioning.

I liked the plot and character development of this book. I was particularly amazed by how the author introduced several new characters at different points in this book. This helps to raise curiosity in readers' minds about the character's specific abilities and roles in the book.

In addition, the author did great work in describing events that occurred in this book. For instance, I loved how various fight scenes were described effectively to enable the readers to visualize and understand several roles each character played.

I was most fascinated by the role Saira played in helping Amanda fight against Jamie. Despite not unlocking her yin side yet, her roles and abilities, as the acolyte of transcendence, to me, seemed like the most outstanding throughout this book.

Antoine's use of some Bible characters, like Adam, when describing how the earth and deities came about was not pleasing to me. I was expecting the author to use a different approach without involving those Bible characters. However, this does not deter my enjoyment of this book, as I enjoyed every other part of this book.

Rise of the Savior was edited professionally, as I found no errors. Consequently, I rate this book 4 out of 4 stars. Lovers of sci-fi, adventures, and fantasies will enjoy this book, and I recommend this book to them.
