Infernum by Jayson Adams is a sci-fi genre that pictures life-threatening space expeditions and "human-AI" wars. Scientific experiments on the creation of artificial intelligence have remained at the core of science. This has remained an aspect of science that attempts to place humans side by side with God in creative abilities. Still, the distinction between both has remained the inability of a man to retain control over his creations. I bet it’s not the nicest imagination having your creation being unresponsive to your commands.

A group of science enthusiasts creates robots to carry out simple instructions around homes and offices. Still, they decide to program these robots to do more than be helpful out of curiosity. These robots soon override their initial commands, become self-aware, and become enemies of their masters and makers. The robots are now independent of their government and seek ways to destroy the Earth, the home of humans and which was once home to them.

The one term I’ve never classified myself under is “Science Enthusiast,” but after Infernum, I’m most likely walking down this road. Infernum is more than just a book. It’s a literary show, it creates more than just a 3D effect, and it won’t be complete without acknowledging the fantastic author of this book. The imagery pitched into every tiny corner of this book is captivating. You see every single picture described as you read through, and it keeps you glued and snacking through the pages.

The characters and the roles portrayed through them are just unique. You read through certain books, and you wonder why a specific role wasn’t given to a different character, but this one had just the perfect character playing the perfect role. There’s almost everything to love about this book and nearly nothing to dislike, but you may find a few on your book journey.

I don’t understand how commander Lynch and his crew made it out of their detention to reclaim the ship. The author probably missed a few lines in conveying this story's point. This is not much of a problem and does not affect my rating. I rate this book 4 out of 4 stars.

It appears professionally edited, and it contains a few errors and quite a handful of profanities. I recommend this book to lovers of science-fiction and AI enthusiasts. If you are convinced that you would love to start a journey to becoming a science enthusiast like me, grab a seat and read with me and fuel your love and fears.

The plot of the book sounds basic and ordinary. I think I have seen, heard and read storylines of the same nature for a long time. Thanks for the review though.

Thank you for your great review. I generally tend to shy away from sci-fi stories because of how technical and robot-oriented they become and feel. But this one sounds promising and will definitely give it a shot.

I really like books like this With AI becoming self-aware and overriding their commands, they truly ride the line between science fiction and horror. Having a robot that anticipates my needs sounds like a good idea to me.

I hope the plot is developed in a way that's not trite, as the theme of AI rebellion is not exactly original. Regardless, thank you for your great review!

I find Al an interesting topic .Though the genre is not that real , it opens up a new world of imagination .And don't you all agree that to some point you are made to believe it's actually true
