Review of We are Voulhire: A New Arrival under Great Skies
We are Voulhire: A New Arrival under Great Skies by Matthew Tysz is an exciting tale of magic and mystery. This first introductory book in the series follows the journey of Galen Bray, a newly oriented owner of a steel forge business in the magical town of Magnum Caelum. We travel through the straining journey of Galen as he goes to his newfound destination. We are also privy to various other mysterious characters as they go about on their path of life. We are Voulhire: A New Arrival under Great Skies by Matthew Tysz will exhilarate you, kindle your adventure bones, but most of all, it will excite you for the future escapades of your favourite character.
I started the book with curiosity, to read more about this magical lore of Voulhire. And Tzse did not disappoint in exceeding my expectations from the book. Each character arc is well-built to give you the experience of reading a dystopian fantasy book. As a reader, I felt the kings, the princes, the mages, and the knights being brought alive by the author’s writing style.
The whole book as a single element goes so well together that it is difficult to pinpoint a single favourite part. I loved reading every faction of the story. The narration, the writing style, the dynamic background of the story, and our deep characters are wondrous creations of the author. The most stand-out feature of the book is the voice of the author. It is in the way Tysz builds up to the pivotal point of the story. Tysz has done a marvellous job executing his fantasy tale nicely onto paper. I could imagine the places of action while reading the book.
I Loved reading this book to bits. There is nothing that I didn’t like except that it was only an introductory book for the Voulhire series. I can’t wait to read the next book of this series. This book is an exceptional example of the magical concoction of science and fantasy. The story flowed so smoothly between chapters that I didn’t realise how quickly I read halfway through the book in my first sitting. There are not even any typo errors to distract you while reading.
I rate We are Voulhire: A New Arrival under Great Skies by Matthew Tysz 4 out of 4 stars for building this world of magic and surrealist fantasy land. Tysz has done amazingly, creating a legendary novel foundation and enticing the readers with beautiful prose. For designing such a detailed and magnificent imaginative town of Magnum Caelum and Voulhire, Tysz deserves no less than all-stars.
We are Voulhire: A New Arrival under Great Skies by Matthew Tysz is for readers who seek to get lost in mysterious worlds and magical secrets. Mavericks of any age will enjoy this book as it does not contain explicit context or language. Matthew Tysz has edited his book exceptionally well, as I did not find a single error while reading.
