The story of The Decision revolved around a group of aliens that ascended to the earth and gathered 13 random people from around the world to decide the next fate of the earth. They were given only 3 days to make such hard decisions which would not only affect them but also affect the whole world and all human beings. The story is so interesting with so many different perspectives and personalities of the characters making everything so complicated and full of conflict. In the story, our main character and his girlfriend are practicing Buddhism, and some religious aspects from Hinduism, Christianity and other religions are going to have a big impact with the progressing of the plots.

So far, The Decision by Michael D. Komeshak is quite enjoyable for me. It gives you the chance to blend in and think along with the 13 candidates. At some point, it also felt so real that I got absorbed into my imagination and almost believed that what is happening in this book is also happening in the real world. Throughout the story, there will be more and more plot twists that will make you wonder what is going to happen next. I love it so much I almost don’t know what to say about this book unless I love it so much.

There’s one quote from this book that I love so much: “An old Hindu proverb says, ‘There are hundreds of paths up the mountain, all leading to the same place, so it doesn’t matter which path you take. The only person wasting time is the one who runs around the mountain, telling everyone that his or her path is wrong.’”

As for the negative aspects, which I would say there are not so many negative aspects that I can point out from the book would be, the first progression of this book felt a bit long and confusing. I had to read the first part for like 3 to 4 times to understand what's actually going on. Well, it would still be confusing in the latter part, but things are starting to flow much more easily then.

This book has no errors and I love it so much that I would love to give it 4 out of 4 stars. If you like alien sci-fi, which story will make you think hard to find the way out, I'm sure you'll love this book as much as I do.
