Magic has always been an attraction for me. Whatever has magic in it, you bet that I will want to see that for myself. I felt the same way when I saw We Are Voulhire: A New Arrival Under Great Skies by Matthew Tysz. In this book, rich magic brought pain and success to the people of Voulhire. Galen can testify to that. He got to know what bondage and freedom felt like. At the beginning of his journey into the unknown, Galen was nothing but a prisoner in his own home. His ruler was at war with his brothers.

That war started because of greed and the ruler’s covetousness. As if to answer his prayers, Rowan showed up to allow Galen to escape his current life. Galen will have to go through some reeducation as a refugee in Voulhire. He will have to relive the experience of living in a free society. Only Galen can say if his arrival in Voulhire was worth it.

Matthew Tysz has proven himself to be a wonderful author of several books. I read King of May and some other books in that series before starting this one. I discovered that Matthew Tyz has an impressive way with words. His stories are always so beautiful. He also gives vivid details of things.  We Are Voulhire: A New Arrival Under Great Skies is no exception, as it wowed me just as much as the previous books. The story in it was amazing. I found myself falling in love with Galen’s journey. I finished this story with a hunger for more. I plan on satiating that hunger.

I liked the mystery that Matthew Tysz included in the story. Some of the characters were pretty shady. Matthew Tysz did not say more than he had to about these characters. This shadiness increased my curiosity. I am a sucker for suspense and mystery. We Are Voulhire: A New Arrival Under Great Skies did not let me down in that regard. The mystery and the suspense in it are what I liked the most.

I have nothing negative to point out about We Are Voulhire: A New Arrival Under Great Skies. I beg you to believe me. Matthew Tysz made it absolutely easy to like everything in it. The story was interesting. The suspense was there at the right points. I did not see any typographical errors in the entire book (the editors edited it exceptionally well). It was not a very long read either. I rate it 4 out of 4 stars because I did not hate one thing that Matthew Tysz put in this book.

I recommended We Are Voulhire: A New Arrival Under Great Skies to fellow magic and fantasy book lovers. Words cannot describe how I felt before and after reading this book. It tells a story that will pull at the strings of your heart and make you question many things. It will also show you a lot of funny moments that will make you smile big and wide.
