We Are Voulhire: A New Arrival Under Great Skies is the first book in the We Are Voulhire series. It tells a story about a young man who escaped his country for greener pastures. Galen was his name. Arriving in Voulhire was a dream come true. Somebody had answered his prayers. Little did he know that that was the beginning of his woes. He was oblivious to the existence of the forces that were out to consume Voulhire. Will he ever find out about Voulhire’s dark truths? How will he react to that?

I have a lot of good things to say about We Are Voulhire: A New Arrival Under Great Skies. I do not mind sharing all of them, but I cannot do that here. I will say that one of the things that I liked about it was how Matthew Tysz arranged the chapters. Each chapter tells a story about one character. Each of them focused on the things that those characters were going through and the plans they were making. I also liked that some of the characters never met themselves till the end of the story. I expect them to meet each other in other books in the series.

If you ask me what I liked the most in the book, I will say that it is the part that focused solely on Galen’s journey. I loved the conversations he had with Rowan and Demetrius. I liked the banter that took place between Rowan and Demetrius. In short, I waited eagerly for scenes that had these friends in them.

It is time to rate We Are Voulhire: A New Arrival Under Great Skies. From all I have said about this magnificent book, you can tell that I loved everything in and about it. It is just that obvious. Thus, I rate it 4 out of 4 stars. We Are Voulhire: A New Arrival Under Great Skies is the definition of perfection. Hating anything in it was just too impossible. Furthermore, Matthew Tysz edited this book super excellently.

I recommend We Are Voulhire: A New Arrival Under Great Skies to fans of Matthew Tysz’s good works. If you have not read any of this author’s books but love a good fantasy story filled with adventure, you should read this too. I would like to know how much or how little you liked it after reading it.
