I've just finished the Harry Potter series and I'm left with a hole in my soul. The need for fantasy books for me is insatiable so I was thinking of filling that gap with the books of J. R. R. Tolkien. What is your next project?

Game of Thrones defiantly. I also think of reading Percy Jackson series. Cause I didn't know about it until the movie came out.
Gonna finish Divergent Series.
Also read about The Goddess Test series. I think that would be interesting.

I read the first book the goddess test series, and it was very good.
Sometime soon I plan on reading Dracula, but I am a little scared because I haven't read much horror before.

A Song of Ice and Fire. I wanted to read it in the summer, but didn't get any time. Also Throne of Glass.

I completely understand the hole of which you speak! I am a huge Harry Potter fan and have read the series from start to finish numerous times. Harry Potter was the series that got me into reading when I was younger. If anyone is looking for something to fill the void that finishing this series leaves you with I highly recommend the following series:
The Abhorsen Trilogy (Book 1: Sabriel, book 2: Lirael, book 3:Abhorsen) by Garth Nix
The Mortal Instrument Series, (7 book series) by Cassandra Clare
Wind on Fire Trilogy, by William Nicholson
His Dark Materials Trilogy (book 1: The Golden Compass, book 2: The Subtle Knife, book 3: the Amber Spyglass), by Phillip Pullman
These authors create a world so magical, you'll forget you're missing Harry Potter and Hogwarts
I have also read and can recommend the Divergent Series by Veronica Roth, and the Hunger Games trilogy by Collins.

I can't wait to read Neil Gaiman's 'The Sleeper and the Spindle. Its his take on a mix between nSnow White and Sleeping Beauty. It is quite short but beautifully illustrated by Chris Riddell, and, as always, incredibly written from the bit i have managed to have a sneak-peak at during work.
I also can't wait to finish reading book one The Dragon Keepers of Robin Hobb's Dragon series. I'm half-way through and am in love.

I would suggest Throne of Glass by Sarah J. Maas, The Grisha Trilogy by Leigh Bardugo, or The Kiss of Deception by Mary E. Pearson to fill the HP void.

I’ve only read one book by Kurt Vonnegut, the Sirens of Titan, and it really interested me in reading more of what he has. This novel was Sci-Fi, but I am not sure whether all of his writing is in the same genre.

I'm currently wrapping up my reread of Throne of Glass by Sarah J Maas and I know I'm going to emotionally spiral again so to save myself from that, I'm going to fill the gap with Fourth Wing and Iron Flame. I'm super excited even though I'll probably cry when I'm done those as well lol

I just finished Throne of Glass, and it’s one of my new favorite fantasy series. Although now i’m taking a little hiatus from fantasy, I’m really excited to finish the Mistborn series since I’ve only read the first book so far!

I am starting Serpent and the Wings of Night. I can´t wait to read it, but I´m also looking forward to read Murtagh and Crescent City 3.

And hello, fellow S. J. Maas lovers. Which one of her books is your favourite?

My next fantasy fix would have to be Caraval! I've heard so much about it and some people liken it to The Night Circus, which I loved! The whole book felt like magic and dreams so, I'm very excited to read a series that may bring that magic back into my life!

I just read Murtagh I loved it, and I'm working my way through the bridge kingdom series. That series is very well written, a little more adult but definitely worth reading. The audiobooks on audible are great! I am working on the priory of the orange tree and enjoying it, but it's definitely high fantasy and pretty slow.
