Bed of Rose and Thorns by Lee Hunt. An extremely powerful story with an in-depth meaning, mixed with fantasy and romance. It tells the tale of Sir Ezra and his undying love for his queen despite how cold and indifferent she is towards him.
Defending and saving her from her husband, the prince of Erle and his assassins puts his life on a hold for eleven years. However banishment did nothing to reduce the love he had for her. He leaves everything behind and starts a new life under the jurisdiction of Lady Kristen.
His love for his queen is not the only secret he harbors. Sir Ezra is an Elysian bell, a god-like ability which enables him to chime when he experiences love, especially towards his queen or the thought of her and Ring loudly and violently in the face of extreme rage.
Sir Ezra's chimes has too effect on the people,it makes the experience pure lust or fear.

The bed of Rose and Thorns is truly a masterpiece that touches the depths of friendship, love and loyalty,on this plane and another.
I truly enjoyed the friendship between Sir Ezra and Sir Marigold and the unexpected camaraderie between Pontes and Sir Ezra.
At first I couldn't understand why Sir Ezra,an epitome of pride and honor keeps chasing after a love that evades him but I later came to understand that the queen in her own unpredictable way loved him back.

I honestly enjoyed this book and I don't have any bad review to give about it. It held layers upon layers of poetry and riddles for the readers to ponder on and decipher. Though it was based on a medieval setting,It touches corruption similar to those we see in present days. Nobles instigating the people against the leaders who genuinely wants the best for them. It also shows the trials a good leader has to face.

Another thing i loved about this book was the gender equality it potrayed. The author,Lee Hunt, spoke greatly on the strengths of women basing the book on a queendom. If you love reading books on strong females, then this is a must read for you.

I found no spelling errors while reading. I would gladly rate the book of Rose and Thorns by Lee Hunt, 4 out of 4 stars. I recommend this book to lovers of fantasy novels and a touch of magic and science. The adult content is high so I recommend it to readers from from ages 18 and above.

This is a good first attempt. You made the book sound interesting without giving away the plot. I'm still working on improving my reviews each time, so you aren't alone in that. Keep up the work. :D

Faithful love is one of the most precious gifts in life, if not the most.

I love this kind of story. It looks like it is interesting and I added it to my list of books to read. I will definitely read this! I am curious on the adventure that the protagonist will encounter all throughout the book. Thank you for this wonderful review.

This sounds like a book just for me as I love medieval themes mixed with fantasy. But there does not seem to be a wow factor to this story that would keep my attention. What makes this book different that make it stand out compared to other medieval love stories?

What a great review. I'll pass on this one though. Sir Ezra's journey sounds quite interesting, however, unrequited love especially when it borders on the illogical is a trope I've had enough of.

This seems like a really interesting book. It'd be nice to learn more about Ezra's undying love for his queen despite her indifferent attitude towards him.

It is known that dramatic love stories can draw the reader deeper into these stories And from my view as a reader first, the love of the lover cannot be described as the power of God, as I mentioned Because this contradicts the concept of love, because love comes from the Creator Secondly, the love period lasted for a very long time, about 20 years, as I mentioned. In the end, a nice story, but it needs some adjustments, thank you
