Just like the saying goes, "grass is not always greener on the other side". This is what Galen learned after he migrated from the Land of the Prince to Voulhire. Though life wasn't as tough as it was previously, he learns that Voulhire isn't as easy as he assumed.

We are Voulhire: A New Arrival under Great Skies by Matthew Tysz gives us an interesting protagonist, Galen. Having lived in a kingdom where he knew nothing other than suffering, he knew the opportunity for a better life had come when he learned that his long-lost uncle wanted him in Voulhire. Unfortunately, his uncle passed away before he got to Voulhire. He takes over his uncle's business. His significance doesn't take time to grow on the people of Magnum Caelum. With the help of Rowan, he understands the ways of the people. He was rumoured to be dead after he was captured under the instructions of Prince Wilhelm for the atrocities he committed on the people of Hillport. Is Meldorath dead? What role will Galen go on to play in the kingdom of Voulhire? I think you should take up this book.

I love how the author focused each chapter on a different character, helping us to understand the characters. I haven't read a book with such a powerful antagonist in a while. I love how scary the author makes Meldorath look. The first chapter of this book was so engaging that I had to stop whatever I was doing to focus on this book. Even though the book becomes slow-paced with time. I think that the different paces made the book more interesting. The book talked about magic and science. It is very rare to have these themes in the same book. If you are looking to read something distinctive, then this book is perfect.

I thought I would learn more about the Land of the Princes, but was disappointed at the end of the book. Besides this, there wasn't anything to hate. The author's style of telling a story will keep any reader glued to his work. Rowan had a contagious sense of humour. This made me love him the most. I loved how this book ended. I can't wait to dive into the next book in this series. If you love watching adventures, I can tell you that this book will give you the euphoric feeling you get when you see such movies.

I rate this book 4 out of 4 stars. I recommend it to an audience that loves reading about magic or adventure thrillers. The book was void of errors. It was exceptionally well-edited.

I like how this book is written. The fact that the author focused on different characters in different chapters is great. We get to understand each character very well.
