Review of We are Voulhire: A New Arrival under Great Skies
Matthew Tysz takes his readers to the mighty nation of Voulhire in his novel We are Voulhire: A New Arrival under Great Skies, where the natural and supernormal worlds coincide.
It's worthwhile to learn about Voulhire—a nation where each township adds to something distinctive; a setting where individuals live their lives while pursuing their dreams. The population here strives for identity even though the nation is on the verge of eminence. It is a time when belief, technology, and the paranormal provide chances for development.
Galen Bray, a refugee who fled his war-torn country, is the main character of the tale. He emigrated to Magnum Caelum, a small hamlet in Voulhire, to claim an inheritance from his estranged uncle. Once there, Bray becomes enthralled by the wealth, people, and way of life in the intriguing world of Voulhire. He also gains new insights about life as a whole. This protagonist is not your typical superhero. He is a personable figure with feelings and ideas that you and I could experience at any given time. Join him as he embarks on a captivating adventure to give back and improve his new home.
This is a narrative that starts with appreciation and optimism and builds up into a suspense saga. It's both fascinating and enthralling. The story is character-driven and highlights a variety of distinct, bold, and enchanting personas that captivate the readers. A fresh fusion of imagination, intrigue, and political drama from the Middle Ages may be found in this book.
This incredibly well-edited book contains a certain amount of magic and enchantment. The story's seamless development captivated me. Multiple viewpoints aren't my preference, but Matthew's style of writing kept me hooked. He was able to keep track of each character's unique history and motivations. The book is even more engaging because of the free-flowing language and concise chapters. The reader must pay close attention to every word since the narrative is unpredictable. The story gets a 4 out of 4 rating from me.
I enjoyed how the villain was revealed in the latter quarter of the novel after a slow build. Reading from his point of view lets you reconsider your original assessment of the character and piques the reader's interest in the next volume of the series.
I'd heartily suggest this book to anybody looking for a little getaway from reality and a chance to indulge in the world of fantasy.
