this book(We are Voulhire: A New Arrival under Great Skies by Matthew Tysz) is set in a country called Voulhire which is told of a king, who suspected that his four sons were not only jealous of each other vying for the throne, but conspiring against him. So he sends them off with enough resources to live comfortably only to find out later that they have engaged in an endless civil war. Voulhire is economically stable, but something is happening underground. There are rebels and some unrest in a country where people don't really know what to believe. Then Galen of the King's Sons comes to Voulhire and that's when things start to get interesting.

The story is filled with conflict, power, betrayal and the search for identity. The author has woven an interesting and fast-paced story filled with interesting characters.
All in all, this was a different and enjoyable fantasy reading experience, interesting and very hard to put down once you start reading.
Warm recommendations and happy reading.
