The Devil Pulls The Strings by J. W. Zarek is a prose based on ancient technology and the supernatural, where our protagonist, Boone Daniels, a mystery man from a small medieval age village is plunged into a scary yet thrilling adventure when he promised to fill in as a guitarist in a band, for an upcoming gig in New York City for his brother whom he nearly killed during a joust. Landing in NYC threw our protagonist, Boone, into a Dilemma as he saw person he was to met for more information on the gig killed. Read this book to find out how, Boone, was thrown into the world of supernaturals and time-travel as he escaped from the murderers.

The Devil Pulls The Strings is a very interesting book and I loved several things about it. I loved the great narrative sense put into this book as it was very descriptive on many things, I loved the author's portrayal of our protagonist, how he made Boone become a very interesting character since the beginning of the book and how he caught my attention from the beginning till the last chapter. I also loved the plot structure alot as it brought some many moments of suspension that held my attention from the very beginning. The inclusion of supernatural events, characters and time travel all aided in making this book an appealing work of art.

I found no fault with this novel as I had great time reading the book and my attention was well sustained till the end.

I rate this book 4 out of 4 stars. As it was professionally edited and no grammatical error was found.

I recommend this book for people who love to read about Ancient mythologies, time travelling and most especially supernatural beings. It is not for people who do not have interest on those genres I listed as you will find this book to be distasteful as 80% of the books covers that aspect.
