We are Voulhire: A New Arrival under Great Skies by Matthew Tysz is a story about the mysterious land of Voulhire. Who will uncover these mysteries?

After noticing the plan to overthrow him by his sons, the emperor gave each of his sons an island to rule. These princes ruled their lands with terror. People started to attempt to escape from the land of the princes, but they were stopped by any means. Galen was one of the lucky ones to escape from this land. He escaped to the magical land of Voulhire. He discovers that his late uncle left his possessions in his name. Galen Bray is in the land of Voulhire but is clueless about what it holds for him. Will it be as bad as the land of the princes? Will it favor him? Pick up this book to find out.

I enjoyed reading this book. The characters were lively and brought suspense to the book. The characters developed perfectly. My favorite character is Meldorath. Although he was a villain, I liked how powerful he was. His presence caused a lot of tension, and I always looked forward to what would happen whenever his name was mentioned. The inclusion of the map created a kind of realness to this book. The inclusion of the glossary at the end of the book was really nice, and it served as a guide for me while reading it. Also, this book was filled with adventure, and the author made sure to use simple and straightforward words. The style of writing is top-notch.

The only thing I disliked about this book was that it ended in a way that left one wondering and guessing a lot. I am glad that it is part of a series, and I really can't wait to read other books in this series. I must applaud the author for capturing my whole attention in just 172 pages. It is amazing.

I will be rating this book 4 out of 4 stars because of the good storyline and how the author managed to build the plot with a good pace and interesting conversations. During the course of reading this book, I did not find any form of error. This shows that this book was exceptionally edited. Due to the profanities in this book, children should stay off it. I recommend this book to lovers of fantasy. This is one they will definitely enjoy.

From reading this review, I gathered that this book ended with a cliffhanger. Seriously, I don't like reading books with cliffhangers because I am a very inquisitive person. But it is good as the book is in a series because we can get the remainder of the story from the other one.
Nice review! I enjoyed reading it.

Though I'm not a fan of fantasy novels, I like the story like of this novel. I'm somehow curious about what Voulhire have for Galen and how he'll will later react to the princes terror. Good review
