Is anyone else looking forward to this release? Gaiman just posted a list of independent bookstores that will be carrying signed editions of this book on his Facebook feed. I can't wait! There is supposed to be a Doctor Who short story and a companion piece to Ocean at the End of the Lane in this book of short stories. I was really happy to see that my local independent bookstore will be carrying the signed edition!

Awesome!! If I didn't work on Tuesday, I'd be first in line for a copy! I'm hoping this book isn't sold out by Wednesday.

I will buy it as an ebook, though I may wait for the price to come down. 8)

I just finished this. It was a collection of short stories, many of them previously published. Some of them were amazing, all were good. There were a few poems, too. Nothing o'clock was a Doctor Who piece that featured the Eleventh Doctor and his companion Amy Pond. I could just picture this being an episode of the show, it was perfect! Click Clack the Rattlebones was another great story, and I found it so creepy that I've been avoiding my attic since reading it. The last story in the collection features Shadow, the main character from American Gods. Gaiman writes in his typical dreamy, fairy tale-like style , and he often incorporates real mythology and legends into the tales. I am more of a fan of his longer fiction, but I really enjoyed Trigger Warning nonetheless.

I am reading it between other books. The stories I have read so far were nice, but didn't knock me down.

Yeah, I think Gaiman excels in his longer tales. I'm glad I borrowed this from the library instead of buying it. Some of the stories in Trigger Warning seemed more like fragments and didn't have enough of a satisfying ending for me. There are a few gems in there, though!!

I really enjoyed Trigger Warning! It had some experimental short stories that I found overall successful and fun to read. Gaiman does a great job making these stories full of whimsy and creating magical worlds within a short amount of words. I have yet to read anything by Gaiman that I have not enjoyed. @Lisalovecraft thank you for bringing this to my attention. The Doctor Who story was amazing.
