I haven’t read a fiction novel book since 2019 when things turned upside down. This book provided my urge to finally redeem my interest in reading again.

Growth by Jon Pulli is a fiction novel that revolves its story on an energy drink, Lifio created by an Icelandic Chemist which has great demand in the market because it provides non- negative effect on human body, but later on revealed that it utilizes CRISPR technology to manipulate or mutate DNA that causes unusual growth to those who already took a sip on it. However, Employees from FDA agency headed by Melanie with her brilliant scientist Dr. Carrie Roberts indulge themselves to reverse engineer the mutation and pull Lifio off the market. But as years passed and their journey still on the way the faith of humanity is in peril.

The Author literally brought me in his world. The story really is very descriptive. Maybe some of the readers may find some words that are unnecessary, but for me, I found it as its edge. As I progress in my reading I felt that I, myself has become a part or one of the characters. It just made me experience became a Scientist, a Computer Engineer and more just in a few days. I really love the wisdom this book gave me. It teaches me a lesson that anything that beyond the normal thing has its consequences. I love how the value of trust works in the storyline. The trust that you have granted in your colleagues make every work efficient and the love and trust that you had given to your partner can surpass every obstacle to achieve your desire for your family and even in the society. The ending is what I was expected as well. I do believe as a reader that good books deserve sequels.

I found no errors in this book and it exceptionally well- edited. However, there are some vulgar words that were repeatedly used and mild non- explicit erotic scene. But overall, I found it more realistic and this doesn’t affect the fact that it’s still an excellent book to read.

Although this tells fiction and fantasy, it gives a slap as to what human can do with his prowess of knowledge and what possible consequence it may give that makes it very relatable in today’s era. I give this book an excellent rating of 4 out of 4 stars. I recommend this book to readers with interest just as mine who are looking for a fiction book with excellent and relatable storyline that worth their time.
