We are Voulhire is a book written by Matthew Tysz that can be found in the fantasy genre, a book that from the minute you read its description captures your attention and doesn't let go until you end up reading its last pages. The book itself tells the different stories of multiple characters in this new and original universe where magic is real and not only that, but once you get deeper into its pages you keep realizing new fantastic things, each one better than the last.

The story kept coming back to Galen Bray, who appears to be our main character, he is a man that escapes his home, some island where it seems to be in a war that has no plans to stop, to Voulhire, a country he hopes would be a place that feels like home, a place where he belongs. Nevertheless, Galen only takes a rather small part of it, sharing the pages with plenty of characters, of which we get to see their roles in this ongoing story.

We are Voulhire felt like an introduction to this marvelous universe, a book where we only get to read the beginning of what feels it'll be a wonderful saga full of diverse characters with a variety of background stories that will have you wishing for more. From the moment a star reading the book I realized that I couldn't stop, the written, characters, stories, dialogs, everything was pleasant to read. The tale had me hooked throughout its length. 

Throughout the book, the author kept changing the POV from one character to another; but never left you confused, indeed we, the readers, were always warned of said change, which makes it flow well with the story. Another point that I would like to mention is the lack of grammar errors that I notice, which leads me to say that the book is professionally edited. 

On the other hand, I couldn't find a single thing a didn't like about this book, as I mentioned before; since a read the description, I was captivated by the book and my enthusiasm didn't change during the reading.

After this being said, I rate this book 4 out of 4 stars, in simple words, it was a marvelous book that I will be re-reading, and I would follow the entire saga. I fully recommend this book to anyone who loves, or even slightly likes, the fantasy genre, it is a book with an amazing story, and wonderful and captivating writing that I'm almost certain would leave you wishing for more.
