We are Voulhire: The Fires of Virko, written by Matthew Tysz, is a science fiction book and the second book in the series of "We are Voulhire.” King Wilhelm, the king of Voulhire, allowed Virko under Lord Venden to become an industrial town. Chaos started reaching Virko, the industrial hub in the kingdom of Voulhire, where people had little faith in magic or God. Rowan, Demetrius, and Galen Bray arrived to arrange iron to support their business, where they met the ailing Lord Hrelek, who was the founder of Virko. They realized Lord Hrelek’s son, Folcro, was a threat to the people of Virko despite him looking calm and harmless. Lord Meldorath had started implementing his great plan for fastening the Holy Land of Yamon Soul. Will the desire for supremacy destroy innocent lives in Virko? Read this book and find out.

I liked several aspects of the book that makes the book enjoyable. Firstly, the author used crisp and engaging language. As a reader, you could easily read the book and understand it since there is the use of normal dialogue and normal narration of the story. Secondly, I liked the imaginative content of the story. He describes in detail the building structures, attires, and scene sites to establish a mental image in storytelling. I liked the imaginative content because it made the reader experience the world of Voulhire visually. Finally, I liked the characters in the story and how they played their roles in the story development. The characters such as Demetrius, Folrco, Lord Meldorath, Lord Kayden, and Rowan showed significant character development and played their roles perfectly.

I did not find anything to dislike in the book. The book's plot was great and effectively achieved the plot twists and the transitions within the scenes. The unpredictability of the plot changes made the story interesting and kept the reader attentive until the end. The flow of the story was great; hence, I did not find anything to dislike in it.

I rate We are Voulhire: The Fires of Virko by Matthew Tysz four out of four stars. The book was explicitly edited; hence, I did not find any errors. It had many positive aspects and no negative aspects. It had individual background stories which were enjoyable and kept the whole story as one. With all the positive aspects and no negative aspects, it would be unfair to deduct a star; hence, the rating.

I recommend this book to lovers of fantasy stories. It would be helpful to them since the story contained in the book is fantasy-oriented, like the story of Virko. Also, the readers should not be offended by the frequent use of profanity since it contains profane language.
