We Are Voulhire: A New Arrival Under Great Skies by Matthew Tysz is a novel based on a retired general Meldorath and a young man called Galen Bray, Meldorath and his men went to arrest a Lord of a Town called Hillport under the order of the King, Meldorath single handedly killed lord Orlin guards and arrest Lord Orlin charged of vandalism and assault, it is said that Lord Orlin assault children sexually, after the occurrence, Meldorath became the Lord of the Town and he settled down in the Town with his men, King Wilhelm who is said to be Meldorath friend has some fear for him because he know Meldorath is a strong mage and he is very powerful for a mage of his age, This makes the King to order his arrest three months later after Lord Orlins death, A mage commander was put in charge of Lord Meldorath arrest with half the eastern army surrounding Hillport on the day of his arrest without knowing what his offense is, Later on rumour said lord Meldorath is dead. Is he really dead? Read this book to know. Galen Bray is a young man from the Land of the Princes, His uncle paid an executor to help him get Galen out of the Land of the Princes to Magnum Caelum where his uncle lives, When Galen got to Magnum Caelum his uncle is dead already but he left him a house some Golds and Silvers and a blacksmith workshop because his uncle is a blacksmith, Galen being grateful to his dead uncle for giving him a better life from the one he is living in the land of the princes vow to continue his uncle job and turn it to their family legacy,Rowan the executor put him through some things he doesn’t know in the country because he’s a newcomer to that country and he doesn’t know many things,Galen started forging by reading his uncle book but it’s not good enough,This makes him embark on some journey to be a better blacksmith, where he met Demetrius the monk. Did Galen later become a successful blacksmith? Read this novel to know.

We Are Voulhire: A New Arrival Under Great Skies is a lovable book and an enjoyable book, I love many things about this book, I love the opening created by the author as it caught my attention throughout my reading of the book, I love how the author portrayed some characters in this book like Lord Meldorath and Galen Bray, I love the structure of the plot in this book which varies in two ways, The first one is the entire Voulhire and Meldorath, The second plot is Galen Bray, Rohan the executor and Magnum Caelum which maintain certain developments. There are moments filled with suspense and heightened tension which held my attention and kept me on the edge. I love Matthew Tysz’s focus on events, actions and individuals of unique and exceptional power like the character of Meldorath. The inclusion of Supernatural events and elements not understood by science in the novel all aided in making this book a great work of art.

I could find no fault with the novel, My time was well spent and I love everything about the book, Above all my curiosity was well satisfied at the end. A really good job was done with the book. The book was also professionally edited.

I rate this book 4 out of 4 stars. Although a few error was noticed but it does not have an effect on the overall book.

I recommend this book for the lovers of sci and fantasy book.
