Review of We are Voulhire: A New Arrival under Great Skies
We are Voulhire: A New Arrival under Great Skies by Matthew Tysz is a fascinating book. It brings forth a world of historical adventure, magic, and betrayal.
It is a story about the mysterious land of Voulhire. Galen Bray is a young man from the land of Princes. There was so much chaos. The conflicts in the land brought about starvation, oppression, and severe poverty. Galen's great uncle was from the land of Voulhire. When he died, he named him his heir. He also arranged for Galen to relocate to Voulhire. It was a tremendous opportunity for Galen to experience a better life and have more exposure with the help of Rowan.
King Wilhelm of Voulhire entrusted one of his loyal friends, Eldus, to be Lord of the land of Hillport. Lord Eldus was excited about this new order as he had many plans for them. When he got there, he realized that the people of Hillport were troubled by dark memories of their previous rulers, Lords Orlin and Meldorath. The townspeople are in constant fear as they worry about their future. Will Lord Eldus succeed in his plans?
I enjoyed reading this book. It had many strong characters. The book portrayed the importance of having hope. As the writer said, "See the good in everything, and the best of it will find you." It also talks about the importance of showing kindness to people for no particular reason. The book made me understand how one's upbringing or background can affect one in many ways. It also reminds us that when feeling down, it is always good to talk to someone you love about why you feel that way.
Furthermore, there was nothing I disliked about the book. The storyline was also easy to understand, and the choice of words used by the author will help to increase a reader's vocabulary. I would recommend this book to readers that enjoy reading fictional books and those who love mystery and magic. In the book, there is a considerable amount of profanity and sexual slang written by the author, which makes it suitable for a mature audience.
In conclusion, the book's editing is commendable. It was an excellent read, except for some grammatical errors I encountered while reading the book. The writer was exceptionally detailed in his writing. Therefore, I rate, We are Voulhire: A New Arrival under Great Skies by Matthew Tysz a befitting 4 out of 4 stars.
