Voulhire is an enviable world compared to the lands of the prince, which is dominated by war and poverty. In Voulhire, everything is abundant. There is plenty of freedom, opportunities, food, religion, and many other enviable resources. To those on the outside, Voulhire is blessed with everything anyone would wish for. Although all these are true about the beautiful world of Voulhire, there is also something in Voulhire that the normal world doesn't know. This rarity has brought rise to a dark force in Voulhire, which could either be the fall or the pride of this world. What would be the fate of this magnificent world? We are Voulhire: A New Arrival under Great Skies by Matthew Tysz answers this question.

This delightful book tells the story of a fictional world in a gratifying way. The book tells the story of a young man, Galen, who is stripped of freedom by his hometown. When opportunity presents itself, Galen flees to the land of Voulhire. In this land, so many pleasant surprises greet him. Through disparate views, the author introduced the land of Voulhire to its readers. He allowed us to meet its rulers and influencers. The book started with a mesmerising prologue. I loved that the prologue subtly hinted at what to expect from the book. It was like a teaser that got me hooked on the story.

The author's unique mode of narration also enamoured me. Unlike other books I am used to, the author narrated this story in the first and third person narrative. The different narration styles depended on the character involved. This unique narration was done transparently. I understood it and was gripped by it. It paved the way for a distinct impression of the characters in the book.

The characterization in the book was also mind-blowing. The author didn't just shove the characters into the story. He took his time introducing the prominent characters with a chapter of their own. This way, I got to see the perspective of every character. Galen's point of view was my favourite to read. I always looked forward to reading his story. It was more personal to read, and I got to relate to his struggles and joy.

I disliked nothing about the book. There was so much to admire. From the story's addictive plot to the loveable and realistic setting of the story. The book was edited wonderfully. I found no errors while reading the book. It was clear the author did his research properly while writing this book because the book turned out wonderful.

I would rate this book 4 out of 4 stars. It deserves every bit of the perfect rating. Everything about the book was beautiful. The plot started at the right pace. It contained enough triggers to hold its readers' attention. The book's setting was also perfect for the storyline. The entire book entertained me.

I would recommend this book to lovers of fantasy novels. This book provided the right elements to tease the reader's imagination. Lovers of thriller and adventure book series would love this book too. As the book is an ongoing series which promises to be mind-blowing.
