We are Voulhire: A New Arrival under Great Skies is the first book of a fantasy novel series, written by Matthew Tysz that is centered around a foreigner named Galen Bray who successfully escaped from his war-stricken country and to his dead uncle's home in Magnum Callum, Voulhire where he is exposed to a better life and opportunities he wouldn't have even dreamed of in the Lands of the Princes. Far from what he has noticed since his arrival, Galen Bray is yet to discover just how ambitious, destructive, and power-hungry some citizens of this advanced, knowledgeable, and complicated country are on a closer look, with no idea how much he could be affected.

The book has a changing point of view and I loved the author's manner of narration and the clear detail with which they told their story. I am not particularly fond of fantasy novels but I enjoyed reading We are Voulhire: A New Arrival under Great Skies tremendously and I look forward to reading the continuation of this series. The author used words that were easy to understand and I sometimes forgot that I was reading a fantasy novel because of the smooth flow of the book and how intriguing it was. I could clearly visualize the written scenes and the feelings of the characters. I loved the fact that the author put a map of the country of Voulhire at the beginning of their book and a well-detailed reference guide in alphabetical order for people like me who have never read about Voulhire with spellings that made pronunciation easy and I found it to be very helpful. Matthew Tysz also provided a link for readers that want to take a deeper look into the history of Voulhire.

I didn't find anything I disliked about this novel. The book is properly edited and no error was spotted in this book.

I rate this book 4 out of 4 stars. The book is very interesting to read and also a good find which I recommend to everyone. You wouldn't regret reading it.

I recommend this book to readers who love fantasy, fiction, sci-fi, and crime novels. The story progression was even-paced and despite the fact that the book was thrilling to read, it is suitable for anyone that just wants to relax with a good book. I do not recommend this book to people that are not comfortable with profane words.
