We are Voulhire-A New Arrival Under Great Skies is part of a book series written by Matthew Tysz. This book takes place in the country of Voulhire and its different regions. Within this territory, the author narrates the lives of different Voulhire citizens, Lords, and Kings and how their lives have been affected by three main situations: the reign of a perverse Lord, a dangerous mage, and the war of the country nearby. This book is also full of magic and the possibility of a multiverse. There are mages, biomagic, and the myth of the existence of another universe called Caromentis (one of the three universes of existence). With all of this, plus the individual stories that each character has, the author introduces us gradually into this world full of magic, myths, different universes, hope, war, and violence.

Books about fictional countries, different universes, and different realities are often hard to understand because they make up their own words and meanings. But Matthew Tysz gives the readers all the tools necessary to immerse themselves in the Voulhire world. He designed a map of the country and wrote a glossary with every word that is used in the book. It is also similar to how streaming series are made, which catches the attention of the reader more easily. This kind of writing makes the reading more interesting, and it helps to not get lost with all of the new information that is shown in each chapter.
One last positive aspect is that there was not a moment of boredom while reading this book.

The only negative aspect I could find is that it contains words that can be borderline profanity (certain bad words) and descriptions of murders, wars, and torture that are really descriptive and graphic. Some people may not like these kinds of descriptions, and this is a downside.

We are Voulhire-A New Arrival Under Great Skies is exceptionally well edited and I give it a 4 out of 4 stars. Matthew Tysz truly knows how to capture the reader's attention and how to make our imaginations flow. He has the ability to create amazing worlds and universes and connect every story perfectly.

I would say that this book is for people over 18 years old. Mostly because it includes sensitive topics as well as very graphic descriptions of violent acts. I also believe that the possible readers should enjoy reading sci-fi and fantasy stories.
