If you are a fan of stories with wizards, adventures, wars and kings, We are Voulhire: A New Arrival under Great Skies by Matthew Tysz definitely has to be your next read. We meet several characters who tell us about their lives from different points of view: some of them from ordinary people in a fishing village and others from the top of a tower in the capital's palace. Despite this, the main story focuses on Galen, a young man in his twenties who escapes from a war zone to start a life of peace at the forge of an uncle he has never met. However, while he seems to have found his place in the world, in other parts of the country conflicts do not stop flourishing and what seemed to have ended with the death of a great sorcerer reappears to amaze some and alert others.

To begin with, I must admit that I haven't been so attracted to a way of writing and telling stories in a long time. The quality of writing and editing that this book has is incredible and makes you unable to stop reading even when the story is not at its best. The story, this is where I don't have enough words, it was wonderful from every point of view of every character that I came across, all with different problems and personalities; At times it seemed that there were more and more characters like in Game of Thrones or The Lord of the Rings, where something new could always appear. It's a real pleasure to be part of the life pieces of all the characters.
Extra points for including a map of the locations and a little dictionary of fancy words from the book. Many times these things are overlooked because "it is very well described" in the book but it always helps a lot to have illustrations and complements.

On the other hand, I feel that there are small details that were not clear or were overlooked once the same point of view reappeared and the story continued. It's a very personal look that I know doesn't add to the good of the book, but it's just to keep in mind.

I'm happy to say that my opinion of this book grew as I turned the pages, and for that I give it a 4 out of 4 stars. I think that with everything above it is more than clear but it is a book worth reading. I'm looking forward to reading the sequels.

Definitely a book for all tastes, I would classify it for a teenage audience onwards due to the vocabulary that it may have on occasion.
