We are Voulhire: A New Arrival Under Great Skies by Mattew Tysz is a fiction fantasy novel. It introduces us to the wondrous, fantastical world of Voulhire. The story begins with Galen Bray, one of the four sons of a powerful ruler in a nation known as the land of princes, where an individual's fate could be death by the sword or slow starvation. To escape death, he boards a ship to magnum caelum in the kingdom of Voulhire in hopes of a better future. While Galen is the story's main character, the narrative is through multiple perspectives. We follow Galen on his adventures and see where the story takes him.

This book, We are Voulhire: A New Arrival Under Great Skies, is exciting and imaginative and also captivating, especially the story surrounding the mage Meldorath. The history and culture of Voulhire described in the book are rich, and it feels like a real place. I am sure the author did a lot of research to make the book original. Although it was interesting, the beginning was a kind of struggle. It was slow and difficult to comprehend but full of adventures and a good read. This book is an excellent way to escape from your day-to-day life.

I liked how the author had put a lot of effort into mapping out the country of Voulhire, both figuratively and literally. We see the map in the beginning pages of this book. The author created the characters in a manner that seems as if you were meeting them in person.

This book, ]We are Voulhire: A New Arrival Under Great Skies, is professionally edited. There were no grammatical or typographical errors, and the punctuation was accurate. The plot of this book is captivating, with every unfolding accurately explained, so we get to enjoy all the beautiful, action-packed events of Voulhire.


Confidently, I rate this book four out of four stars. This book has a stunning writing style and structure. I love how each chapter is labeled. The author made it easy to understand, which made it easy for me to relate to the characters in the story. I recommend this book to anyone who loves fantasy and magic/sci-fi stories. It is suitable for an audience in their teens and above. If you love the Lord of the Rings or Harry Potter, you will love this book. It is a gateway to another world.
