Voulhire was a country with a diverse culture and way of life. Like the United States of America, each state had its core values, belief system, and culture. For example, one state focused on industrialization and had capitalism as its main mode of doing business. In contrast, another state was known for its devotion to God and all things holy. Galen was a refugee in Voulhire. He was determined to make something of himself in this new country. He was unprepared for the adventure that fate threw him into when he crossed paths with Rowan, a citizen of Voulhire. Together, they will explore this unique country and understand each state's culture. What will Galen and Rowan discover during their stay in Voulhire?

Matthew Tysz took us on a wild journey in We are Voulhire: A New Arrival under Great Skies. He expertly mixed bits and pieces of magic, science, drama, suspense, friendship, and loyalty into the story. Like every other adventure novel, We are Voulhire: A New Arrival under Great Skies has its dark moments when it seems like evil will prevail over good. That is not to say that good was victorious, but I liked how these two elements went neck-to-neck with each other every step of the way. I must also say that this is the first book in the We are Voulhire series.

I felt both excitement and complete dread while reading the story Matthew Tysz told in We are Voulhire: A New Arrival under Great Skies. I could never shake off the feeling of impending doom that clouded my mind throughout this book. I cannot hate this particular feeling because it showed me clearly the lengths that evil people will go to prove their point. I would never have felt any of what I felt if Matthew Tysz had not described every event so carefully, down to the tiniest detail. I was in awe of how well-detailed everything was in the book, from the beginning to the end. I am confident enough to say that this is what I like the most about the book.

We are Voulhire: A New Arrival under Great Skies has no serious negative aspects. In fact, it has none at all. Its editing was done exceptionally well, and I did not expect any less from Matthew Tysz, a man known for his near-perfect novels. I was also not disappointed with the pace at which the story progressed. Yes, I finished reading this book with so many questions on my mind, but I did not expect to get all my answers. Why? Because then that would mean that I would have no reason to read its sequel. Therefore, I say it was written beautifully. Because I cannot make any negative comments about a single thing in the book, I have decided to give it a rating of 4 out of 4 stars.

We are Voulhire: A New Arrival under Great Skies is a fantasy novel. That makes it a perfect fit for anyone who likes books and stories in that genre. I recommend it to fantasy novel lovers who want a beautiful series that will keep them engaged for a pretty long time.
