Review of We are Voulhire: A New Arrival under Great Skies
We are Voulhire: A New Arrival under Great Skies by Matthew Tysz is the first book in the Voulhire series. Lord Meldorath, king of Hillport, a man who needs to be feared, his name alone evokes fear among the people. A powerful man whose practice of magic is for his own selfish desires. War, fear, death and many more were the fate of those living in the land of Prince. Galen Bray, an innocent young man whose only desire is to leave this dreadful land for a greener pasture. When an opportunity presented itself, he ran as fast as he could into a boat going to Voulhire, his dream land. Despite how beautiful the land is, there are some challenges and decisions he had to face. Was he able to overcome this challenges on his own? Why don't you find out by reading We are Voulhire: A New Arrival under the Great Skies.
We are Voulhire: A New Arrival under the Great Skies is a very intriguing and captivating novel. What I love about the book is that the story line is smooth and well constructed. I love the author's introduction of the book by giving us a map which gave a clearer picture about the world of Voulhire. I also love the way the author introduced the book by writing the characters, as well as the roles each played. This made it easier to understand. The author is good at describing scenes, making it easier for the reader to follow up with different emotions each scene is portraying.
As much I love and appreciate this book, what I dislike about the book is that I found the characters confusing at a point. There were different names with different character representation; however, this does not have anything to do with how well I enjoyed reading the book.
I would rate We are Voulhire: A New Arrival under the Great Skies by Matthew Tysz a 5 out of 5 stars. This is because I found the book interesting and fascinating. Not only that, but the book is well edited and well-structured. I found no error while reading through the book, as the book is professionally edited. There is no ambiguity in the author's choice of words, making the book simple and easy to read and understand.
I recommend this book to fantasy lovers, lovers of magical adventures and political hassle. I do not recommend the book to young adults because of the use of sexual words and profanity. Furthermore, I do not recommend the book to people whose beliefs are against the practices of magic and magical adventures.
