Fire and Brimstone: The Prince of Death by M. N. Beck is a science fiction or fantasy book about supernaturals (otherworldly) and their regulation by a group called Coetus. Kai, a slayer, was brought up and trained by Coetus under Father Lyndell and Mother Martha. Coetus chooses slayers as normal babies born with increased abilities. Kai is a trainer now and trains younglings like Cammi, preparing them for a world of unrelenting creatures.

One morning, Father Lyndell summons Kai. A mystical being is killing the executives at Coetus, and the person seems to be a massive threat. Kai has an extraordinary ability that is frightening yet envied. Initially, she was suspected, but there is a more obvious suspect who is “The Prince of Death.” Father Lyndell tasks Kai with finding this Prince of Death, whom she has no information on. She searches the library and discovers very few details about him, which does not help. How does she solve this strange mystery, and who is the Prince of Death?

Fire and Brimstone: The Prince of Death consists of 22 chapters and 290 pages. Following its amazing story through the eyes of Kai, I witnessed the beautiful scenes with exciting characters. I like how the story transcends from one chapter to another in a language that is easy to understand. The book cover also adds a bit of flair to the book. After reading this book, I can say that this book, Fire and Brimstone: The Prince of Death, is exceptionally edited. There were no grammatical, typographical, or punctuation errors.

There is nothing I dislike about this book. Characters like Kai are outstanding, especially with her bold attribute. Brahm is absolutely one to love and probably my favorite character. His calm, unreadable nature keeps everyone suspecting he might be the Prince of Death. This book gives such tranquil action energy, and this helps with the thrill and suspense.

I rate this book five out of five stars. Fire and Brimstone: The Prince of Death shows that it is a creative work from the first page. The literary accuracy and comparison of characters to real-life personalities added a sense of relativity to this book. I would love to commend M. N. Beck for this marvelous book. If this book is to have a continuation, I will read it.

I recommend this book to lovers of action books, especially those interested in vampires, werewolves, and hunters of supernaturals, like in the “Originals” series. The presence of a lovely female protagonist will surely attract more readers.

I like to read about characters that face challenges, physical or otherwise. It sounds like Kai has been brought up to do her duty even when that is difficult.

I did watch some of the Originals when it first came out as a spin-off of Vampire Diaries. So I will probably enjoy reading this book. And now I have to know who the Prince of Death is. Thanks for a terrific book review!

A sci-fi that talks about how Kai was tasked to find the “The Prince of Death” whom she has no information about. The book characters were well-develop. I'm glad you enjoyed reading this book. Nice review.

I like how the book keeps you on the edge of your seat trying to figure out who the culprit is. The combination of mystery and fantasy makes me think I'd enjoy this very much. Thanks for a stellar review.

I really love Brahm's personality and I'm definitely seeing something between him and Kai. Not that it really matters to me, but a female lead is a good one. Kai doesn't let things get to her head and she's ever ready to complete a task. I'd really love to read this book. Thanks for the recommendation.

I love Kai's resolve. It would be nice to know what her special ability is. The Prince of Death is an intriguing title for a character. Who might this be? I should get this book.

The cover art of the book is certainly enticing and makes the intending reader curious as to the contents of the book. I love that this book is a mystery novel that has a good dose of suspense.

Reading Fire and Brimstone seems like something I'd love doing. The female protagonist is certainly brave and I like that. I'm not one for weak females. The story progresses nicely and I must say I'm intrigued to find out who The Prince of Death is.
