Terms of Service by Craig W. Stanfill is an engrossing novel that unfolds the story of a young girl named Kim. Kim, who once enjoyed the simple life she lived while working with the artificial intelligence company, finds herself in a dilemma. Her crisis commences when Kim together with her best friend Shan, violates the rules of the AIs without actually meaning to. What started as a fun ride for them, eventually leads to their doom and puts them in a tight corner without so much of an escape route. Whilst trying to save herself from what she had signed up for without critical thinking, Kim begins to see things in a different light. She now understands the reality of the illusions of what she's been made to believe her entire life and most of all, she understands perfectly well how the AIs work. Left with not much of a choice, she's torn between continuing with the AIs or facing their wrath for being rebellious.

Starting in a very simple way without much going on, there's suddenly a twist of events that practically leaves you glued to every page of the book. Terms of Service is an interesting book with an exquisite storyline.

I admired how Craig W. Stanfill did an amazing job in unfolding every mystery in the book. His way of stretching the suspense gave it a more interesting edge and piqued my curiosity throughout the book. An example can be cited from when Kim and Shan violated the AI's terms of service and things kept unfolding, slowly revealing what will become of the two of them.

I also did not have any problem with the type of language used in the book, though it could be a turn-off to some people. I felt it helped in expressing the current state of the characters and was fine with it.

There was not much I disliked about the book considering its catchy plot. Apart from the use of some unfamiliar words which I think should have been explained at some point in the book and a few errors that should be looked into and corrected, I think it was worth reading.

I, therefore rate Craig W. Stanfill's Terms of Service five out of five stars because of how well-written it was and the way it piqued my curiosity into finishing it.

I recommend Terms of Service to people who enjoy reading science fiction and books that have anything to do with artificial intelligence. It would not be suitable for a children's book as kids will have a hard time understanding the entire book.
